“We had an amazing trip, thank you. We were very sad to return to England and wish we could have stayed longer. In respect of the Hideaway I apartment - its location, amenities, comfort, decor and cleanliness was impeccable - we couldn't have wished for more - very impressive. Re the Transfer - this was ideal, very organised and punctual, the car was exceptional quality and the driver very helpful and friendly - we will use again! Information wise, everything was as described. Your services are excellent- we greatly appreciated being allowed to check in early given our flight changes, thank you for organising this The only comment we would make that may require some attention - though I am not sure what can be done - is that on the saturday night we were kept awake for a few hours by extremely loud music. It is of course not the owners fault that the club plays such loud music, but I must admit it was incredibly disruptive and we were both disturbed by it for some hours and unable to sleep. I am suprised this club is permitted to play music so loud given there is a residential area adjacent to it. Luckily the club appeared to only be open on fri and sat evenings so the remainder of our stay was perfectly peaceful. As I say I'm not sure what the owner could do about this, unless there are any laws in Dubrovnik against music being played so loud in residential areas so early in the mornings, in which case maybe he could register a complaint saying that his guests are being disturbed? “We really enjoyed our stay in Dubrovnik. The old town is fascinating and very picturesque and we really enjoyed walking around the walls and wandering around the back streets. The Swing apartment was very comfortable and in an ideal position overlooking the old town and only a couple of minutes walk to get into the town. The view from the terrace was lovely but unfortunately it was a little chilly to spend a lot of time out there. I think we would have made a lot of use of it had the weather been warmer. On one of the sunniest days we did a trip up the coast by the local bus to Cavtat which is a really beautiful place and we had a lovely meal there. “We had a wonderful time in Dubrovnik despite the weather! The Secrets II & III apartments were perfect for the 5 of us. The location right in the centre of the old town was ideal and it was lovely to just open the windows and listen to the musicians playing in the square in the afternoon! The apartments were clean and we really liked the decor.The transfers both to and from the airport were very efficient and comfortable. It was great to have someone waiting at the airport for us after our 3 hour delay! Viktor was very informative and gave us lots of ideas on what to do and where to eat. The fresh flowers and bottle of wine were a lovely welcome too! The description of the apartments on the website was generally accurate. I also think the youtube videos are a great idea and is something I've never seen before. “Excellent location just a few hundred metres on the level from the old town , but in a very quiet street so sleep was easy and long. A little cove with a bar was just 50 metres away all on its own lovely for afternoon coffee. The owners were very informed and helpful which enabled us to make the most of our stay, knowing where to get buses and boats for visiting islands and other towns. "The view of “02” apartment was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed it so much! The little garden is picturesque and there is a lemon tree where you can pick some lemons :-) The rain shower is an adventure and the rest of the apartment is just great. You can reach the old town in approx. 15 minutes and there is a bakery and a small supermarket nearby. The host "Victor" was really kind and gave us helpful tips what to see in a couple days. “We loved the Secrets II apartment. It was just as pictured and most beautifully appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable - the bathroom was very lovely with plenty of wonderful hot water..... The location was amazing! We really enjoyed Dubrovnik......There was just one drawback for me (and my sister) - we both have bad knees and the stairs were a bit difficult for us by the end of the day. Viktor met us upon arrival at the Pile Gate and showed us around our apartment which was perfect; impeccably clean and well appointed. Viktor was great at giving us plans for how to cover Dubrovnik in our time allotted. For example, he directed us to the perfect spot to have a drink while watching the sunset. And, he encouraged us to take a picnic lunch over to the island of Lokrum. We walked over to the Benedictine monastery to find HBO's Game of Thrones being filmed. “The location of the “Secrets I” apartments in the heart of the Old City of Dubrovnik, right next to the cathedral of St. Blaise. Its position is perfect for exploring Dubrovnik during the day and at night. The apartment is located on the first floor, reached by a flight of stairs. “I rented Secrets IV apartment based on Isabelle's (Butterfly Services) proposal. The booking process was carried out quickly, promptly and friendly. Isabelle sent me plenty of information about contact info, how to find the location, how to meet etc. After arrival to the airport, I called Butterfly Services (Viktor) and we agreed where we would meet and when to get the keys. Viktor was waiting for me when I got to Old Town and he took me to the apartment. There he presented the apartment and gave me tips and hints about what is going on in the town and what to do during the week. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped, modern with a classy touch. It has plenty of windows, which open to different streets so it is nice to look around. And the apartment is smack in the middle of the Old Town atmosphere! It was always an overwhelming feeling when you stepped out and you were at once there where the action was. Of course, the hustle and buzz was very audible to the apartment but the windows closed tightly and isolated the noise outside extremely well. My biggest worry before the trip was that if there is much noise and if there are plenty of people passing by your door. But that was not an issue. I didn't see or hear any 'outsiders' inside the building during my stay although the front door (to the street) was not locked. There is a small kitchenette but you probably would use only the fridge to keep your drinks cold. There is no shortage of cafes and restaurants. The supermarket is also near. The Old Town is so amazing with all the old buildings and medieval atmosphere. The narrow streets, small restaurants in the streets, polished pavements, friendly people and excellent ice cream! Based on Viktor's recommendation, I made a trip to Lokrum island also to get some breathing space from the cruise ship tourists. Amazing, I had one bay there on the cliffs totally for myself. I truly enjoyed my stay in Dubrovnik. When I was leaving Dubrovnik, Viktor came punctually to escort me to my airport transportation (which Butterfly Services had arranged). The driver (Peter) was very polite and knowledgeable; we had a very nice conversation en-route. At all times I received friendly, prompt and reliable service from both Isabelle and Viktor. I felt always welcome and they were always able and willing to help me, when I needed that. I can certainly recommend both the Butterfly Services and also this apartment for anyone who wishes to explore Dubrovnik and surroundings. It is not cheap, you can find much cheaper accommodation within the walls but it is more comfortable than the usual hotels.” Trip advisor review, October 2011

“Great to hear from you! I was going to write to you to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Coconut Apartment and of course in Dubrovnik for, what was, one of the most beautiful days of my life. We had so much fun with her taking photographs in her favourite spots. Luka and Mariana welcomed us to Coconut Apartment (we called it Villa because it was so big!). They were very helpful and hospitable and even took us to the supermarket to stock up on our first day. They instructed us on using the excellent outdoor kitchen and bbq, chopping wood and gave us ideas of Dalmatian dishes we could cook outdoors. We had some memorable meals as a family on the fantastic patio area with breathtaking views of Dubrovnik and sunsets to die for! Excellent seating for 10 and lovely furniture. The apartment was even better than the web photos... very spacious and furnished well. Well stocked with good quality crockery/cutlery/cooking utensils etc. Plenty of wine glasses too. The position of the apartment is wonderful within close proximity to the old town and right on the corner to catch the 5 or 8 bus. Lovely panoramic walk (5 mins down...10 mins back uphill) Great exercise! Excellent pick up service and great to do business with you. “After a very busy few weeks planning our wedding, we came here for our honeymoon for some relaxation. Victor organised transport to and from the airport to make it a hassel free stay. He also gave us advice on good places to eat and day trips/places to see. The air-con in the apartment was a welcome relief as the temperatures were in the 30s. The views from the apartment were even more spectacular than on the pictures. We spent 2 weeks at l’Heure Bleue” and it was perfect for getting to the old town but also has restaurants and shops nearby so there was no need for a car. The only downside was that a nearby hotel held live music in the evenings which could be heard with the windows open but we preferred to keep them shut and kept the air-con on anyway as it stopped the mosquitoes getting in. “Citrus Bay apartment is situated above Lapad beach, we had wonderful views from the bedroom of the coast, with very clean and tasteful interior it was more than we expected. A stroll down the steps brought us to the beachfront, strip and local restaurants, and bus station. “ MirO was an excellent location, a very clean, fun space to stay! Nice to have the kitchen appliances and fridge and just overall great experience. We were only there for 3 nights but would have loved to stay longer. It felt so cool being in an actual apt on our own verse a hotel. We did not meet Isabelle during our visit but when we arrived after hours, we called Viktor and he met us at the apartment to let us in and show us our apt for our stay. He was very nice and showed us the place and left. We went down the next morning to say hi and he talked to us about stuff to do during our stay and when we mentioned we would like to go for a run, he recommended running to the Hotel Belvedere. Very cool experience- we did not know at the time that it was an abandoned hotel but it was neat to explore and see this as it was such a huge 5 star hotel before the war. Very interesting and something we wouldn't have come across otherwise. Overall, the stay was great, the place was very clean and we would come back again to visit and recommend to anyone! “Our stay at MirO Studio apartments was everything we hoped it would be. Our apartment was ideal - very clean, nicely furnished with a very comfy bed and lovely shower room. The air con was much appreciated with temperatures in the mid 80s F. The fact that the apartments were situated just outside the city wall was just right - quiet and a real haven from the throngs of people at Pile Gate and within the old town, But also so handy for the old town and harbour. We had a marvellous stay and the only downside was a 10 minute wait at the door when we arrived. We had texted our eta as instructed but had to wait to be let in! “We had a terrific stay at MirO. It's in a great location - really close to the Pile gate just outside of old town (close to all the sights but without the congestion and noise). The studio was terrific. It was very trendy and had everything we needed. There was free Wi-Fi, a fully stocked kitchenette, and good air conditioning. “My wife and I stayed at MirO apartments for three nights just at the tail end of high season in September, and we were really pleased at our decision. A lot of B&Bs suffer on the customer service end, but the proprietor, Viktor, couldn't have been more helpful - I had stupidly failed to pack shorts, and he suggested places to get them, and he pointed us in the direction of Lokrum Island, where we had our most pleasant day on our whole trip; and when we discovered we'd left a Blackberry in our safe, he mailed it to us immediately. The place was less expensive than if we'd holed up in some anodyne hotel, and the location right next to Pile Gate was very convenient (you can get food at a nearby supermarket or bakery if you want to save money). And while MirO was a cheaper option, I don't think we would've gotten much better anywhere else - the room was immaculate, with a kitchen and good WiFi reception. No view to speak of, but it was on a quiet, lightly touristed street, which was exactly what we wanted after a few nights in Kotor. In short, if I found out a friend was going to Dubrovnik and they were going to stay anywhere other than MirO, I'd think they probably hadn't done their homework. “From booking the apartment online, both Viktor & Isabelle were so helpful, they arranged our transfers which were seamless, Victor met us at the apartment and went through all we wanted to know including places to visit. We had cause to contact Viktor due to a minor plumbing issue and within an hour a plumber had been and problem had been rectified. An excellent service and very reassuring. The views from the apartment are literally stunning with amazing sunsets, it's in a quiet street overlooking Lapad bay. To the right of the apartment you can walk along the scenic trail (not to be missed) where you can grab a drink or take a dip in the adriatic to cool off along the way. Lapad bay is ideally situated to access the Old Town of Dubrovnik, no 6 bus (takes 10 mins) leaves every 15 minutes and costs 12 Kuna. We took boat trip to Cavtat which is a 'must do' but we were glad we didn't stay there as most of the things we wanted to do were easier to access from the Old Town, Cavtat to the Old Town is 50 minutes on the boat. Do not miss: Lokrum Island, beautiful place, War Photo Ltd Exhibition (in the Old Town)- not for the faint hearted though, Buza II for the sunsets, Cavtat, Three Island boat trip ( we were lucky enough to see dolphins!), cocktails watching the sunset on the beach at Lapad. “We had a great time while in Dubrovnik and Butterfly services was a big contributor to our enjoyment. Your communication in setting up the trip was excellent -- you always replied quickly to questions and you helped reassure me that we were in good hands in working with you. The mis-step in the airport pick-up was handled well -- a driver arrived as soon as possible and, in effect, you gave us that ride for free. Viktor met us when we arrived to show us to Green Nest, and gave a really good overview of things to do during our stay. Helping in this regard was the well-designed, thorough booklet you prepared giving lots of details about what to do in Dubrovnik. I really appreciated the restaurant guidance in that book, because it helped us find good places for meals. The apartment is quirky and unique -- qualities we liked. The layout on three floors will not work for everyone but we really enjoyed it. The location -- within the old town and near to everything, including a gate to exit the walled city -- was perfect. Viktor told us about a local market for fresh food within the old city and a couple of minutes walk from Green Nest, where we shopped. The kitchen area on the top floor of Green Nest with a refrigerator gave us what we needed to store and prepare some home meals. One suggestion for improvement is to add Wi-Fi to Green Nest, although this is not essential, given lots of Wi-Fi availability throughout Dubrovnik, including a little bar just down the street from Green Nest. A feature of Green Nest that I really appreciate is double-pane glass in the windows to make Green Nest almost sound-proof. This is a really important touch, given there can be noise from outside. However, inside Green Nest all is quiet, tranquil and comfortable. Folks should know that Dubrovnik has lots of hills and steps up them, with Green Nest near the top of one series of steps. While steps come with the territory of Dubrovnik and did not bother us, some people might prefer an apartment with fewer steps to it. Overall, we loved Green Nest and think it is a top-value place to stay. We recommend the apartment, and we recommend Victor and your services. We rate the whole experience of service plus apartment a 4.5 on a 5 point scale. Let me put it differently. If I had a month to stay in Dubrovnik, staying in Green Nest would be just fine with me. "The Bougainvilliers Apartment is a great apartment located just outside the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is a very hilly town and as long as you can walk up steps access is not a problem. The location is really quiet at night but with easy access to the restaurants and bars. The apartment is well furnished and has plenty of kitchen utensils for food and drinks. The pool is a great way to cool down after the heat in the summer and would be ideal for kids. The transfer from the airport is really easy to get to the apartment and we were met by Viktor who helped with our luggage. We would recommend the apartment for both familys and small groups. “From the beginning Isabelle and Viktor were very helpful. We were met at the apartment and helped in with our luggage, then Viktor, while obviously having a busy day, was charming and helpful. Throughout the rest of our stay he was always available by phone to help with whatever queries we had. “Heure Bleue” apartment was clean and in good condition. The photos do give a good idea of the place. The balcony, though small, is a lovely place to sit for breakfast or alternatively to watch the sun go down. The immediate area around the apartment is quite. It is up the hill quite a way from the beach, which affords you the view, but also means a walk uphill at the end of the day. We were told of a shortcut though through the nearby multi-level hotel where you can use the lift. The hotel staff didn't mind, except for our last passage through, where the lielow I was carrying upset the concierge a bit. So just keep that in mind, if you're a keen Lielow user…Head for the No. 6 bus into the old-town. It's busy and crowded. “We really enjoyed our visit to Dubrovnik, and will definitely come back. The town is superb in every way - architecturally, historically, touristically - , and the coast and its archipelago of islands utterly beautiful. The Bougainvilliers apartment was just great. It was neat and tidy inside, and outside the terrace was always in the sun, but with shady corners to retreat to if necessary, and with plenty of loungers and garden chairs. The pool was perfect for our family. When we looked down on the apartment from the top of the cable car journey, we could see how lucky we were to have found an apartment with a swimming pool. The information on the website was fair and accurate, and the practical information in the apartment had really good ideas for activities. We took up one of them - an excursion to Mostar - and would recommend that to other visitors. The transfer to the apartment worked perfectly, and prior to that the booking experience was flawless. If you did not have a budget to eat out a lot, the impracticality of climbing steps in the heat with a lot of groceries every day might be a problem, but we did mostly eat out so had no problem with the steps. We inquired through the website on availability and price and received immediate response. Throughout the whole booking process and communications that followed, we always received a quick response to our questions. Upon arrival at the airport we were met by an English speaking driver who took us to the old town of Dubrovnik, The car was arranged in advance by the Divine Studio Apartment rental management company. The car was comfortable and the driver provided an overview of Croatia and Dubrovnik history and culture. A very pleasant way to start our holiday. We were met at the Dubrovnik old town gate by the Divine apartment representative Victor and he escorted us to our studio apartment. This made it very easy for those visiting Dubrovnik for the first time as finding your way through the maze of streets can be difficult. My wife and I were quite surprised to find the apartment had all the amenities one would expect in a high level hotel. It was all we had hoped for and more. The air conditioner was sufficient to cool the apartment especially since it was mid-summer and very hot and humid outside. Victor explained everything thoroughly and offered tips on were to eat and what to do. We found that the Divine Studio Apartment was not only an excellent value for the money but also in a central location with easy walking to all of old town Dubrovnik. “We have had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday in Dubrovnik. Nearly everything was better than we expected or could have hoped for though there were some “niggles” in relation to the apartment. Viktor and Isabelle were absolutely charming with a great sense of humour, and Viktor, in particular was most helpful at our arrival in advising on things to do and see. Following his instructions (they were more than just advice) ensured we did all the most worthwhile things. The transfer on both arrival and departure was impeccable. Dubrovnik is beautiful and we were fortunate to be at Lapad a 15-20 min bus ride from the main town. We found everyone helpful and friendly and their standard of English made life so much easier than visiting many other Mediterranean countries. The apartment – “Note Bleue” is spacious and well furnished – a more comfortable bed than we had in some luxury hotels, and a large sofa. The view is beautiful but having a view also means one has a significant climb to and from sea level. I strongly recommend Dubrovnik and following Viktor’s recommendations. The apartment is delightful and provided you have a REAL holiday and don’t mind a bit of exercise to and from sea without going through the hotel. “Our stay at the Coconut apartment was very memorable as it was our first trip to Dubrovnik and our son’s wedding. The apartment was spacious and very clean and well presented. The upstairs bedrooms were air-conditioned and had their own bathroom. The main bedroom was downstairs and had an ensuite bathroom but unfortunately this bedroom was not air-conditioned. The weather in July was very hot and humid! The apartment had a good washing machine which was a bonus as we had been travelling for a couple of weeks before we arrived in Dubrovnik. The location of the apartment is quite a walk to the old town as the weather, as I have already mentioned, was HOT. There is however a bus stop just near the apartment which we didn’t discover for the first few days. We would have appreciated a kettle as we are tea drinkers and the apartment was well set up for coffee making only. Also the microwave did not have a convenient plug and so was virtually unused. Other than these little criticisms, the apartment was lovely and the view from the outside raised terrace was absolutely stunning! Judith, July 2011

“From beginning to end, my friends and I had a brilliant time at The Bougainvilliers. We were met at the airport by a driver and driven to Dubrovnik for a very reasonable fee. We were taken straight to meet Viktor, and he took us to the apartment. He was SO friendly, even helping us with our bags up the steps to the apartment (the only minor complaint we had, but we were fully aware of this when we rented the apartment so we can't be too annoyed!). He gave us great local knowledge too and took the time to introduce us to the area. The apartment was spacious, two bedrooms were air-conditioned (which was great during a heat wave), the third didn’t but there were two free-standing fans for use in the apartment so that was fine. The pool was SUCH A LUXURY in Dubrovnik. We were there for a wedding and we were the envy of all the other guests who had to take on the steps to get to the beaches for a cooling swim. I would go back to the bougainvilliers in a heartbeat. It was reasonably priced, and it was everything we needed and more. It wasnt luxurious, but then wasn't sold or priced as a luxury property. “La Note Bleue” is in fantastic location for bars & restaurants, especially being able to use the bottom entrance & Viktor advising us to use the lift down to the beach level at the Kompas hotel. Great views of the bay & also ideally located to travel around to other areas & the Old town. There was only the hob for cooking, which we mentioned on our arrival, the next day we were very impressed to find a brand new microwave & oven, so thank you again for organizing this. The apartment is very comfortable - very contemporary & lovely décor. The apartment its self was very clean. The information provided - description on website is very good, booking procedure, excellent, arrival and tourist information also very good. “Our stay at Porthos was excellent. Our driver was waiting for us in arrivals at Dubrovnik airport and brought us promptly to the city walls from where we walked to meet Tea to bring us to our apartment. The apartment was spotless on arrival and the decor was beautiful. The addition of free Wi-Fi access really benefited us as we could contact our wedding planner Kristina through email easily. The laundry facilities and washing line outside the window meant we could wash our swimwear and towels as needed. The only improvements i would recommend is the shower, a power shower or even the current shower having a hook on the wall so not having to hold it for the duration of the shower and to have air conditioning in the bedroom also would increase the comfort of our stay. The photos of the apartment online matched exactly to the apartment we stayed in. The information booklet you emailed was great and we sampled the ice-cream in dolce vita! Unfortunately sugar and spice was closed on the Sunday when we found it but we will be back! We plan on having our wedding next summer in Dubrovnik and will be in touch ourselves or through Kristina to arrange possible accommodation for some of our guests”. Emma, July 2011

“First, there aren't enough adjectives to describe Dubrovnik which has to be one of the world's most beautiful cities and best-kept secret. Our family's stay (two grandparents, two adult children and a 9-month old baby) at The Bougainvilliers apartment was perfect. From our earliest communication with you during the reservation process; through the complicated airport pick-up and transfer of all of our stuff with 2 different arrivals and a late plane - everything went unbelievably smoothly. Viktor's "hands-on" help and his valuable advice on what to see, what times to visit and where to eat; coupled with Butterfly Services responsiveness and personalized service, was exactly what was needed . OKay...96 steps up to the Bougainvillers apartment wasn't the easiest climb, but the spectacular view of the blue Adriatic, the red tiled roofs and the old city from the huge wrap-around terrace, made it all worthwhile. “One of the best choices as regards to accommodation we have ever made, after travelling extensively for the last 14 years. We are a mature couple from South Africa, after careful searching we read about The Secret I on Trip Advisor and made our plans from there. From the first e-mail we were impressed with the professional manner in which Isabelle and Viktor operate. “We had a wonderful time, thank you. The apartment “La Maison de l’Ete” was just fine. It was very spacious with plenty of room for our big family, and Ivana was a wonderful host. The only problem we had was that the club on the beach played music until very late at night. Other than that, it was perfect. We couldn't really hear it with the windows closed. “We just returned from a 2 week trip through Slovenia and Croatia. Dubrovnik was our last stop and we were hoping that Divine 1 would offer both a wonderful location in the heart of Old Town and the comforts we were seeking. We were very pleased to find both! The apt has 2 air conditioners (1 in living room, 1 in bedroom), a full kitchen, wireless access, and a wonderful location off the Stradun in Old Town....with no outside stairs. Although the town can get pretty noisy at times, we never heard a sound from the streets in the apartment. And the lovely terrace got lots of use as we would drink wine and plan our next day's activities. “Viktor met us as arranged at Pile Gate and escorted us to the apartment, where he showed us the features and recommended a few restaurants, which were excellent choices. Being on the second floor the studio has stunning views over the old town and is located in the flat part of the town, no stairs in the streets. The apartment is fully equipped with appliances for cooking, is fully air conditioned, has lots of storage and extra sheets, towels and blankets, plus lots of hot water. We had no need to contact the Managers during our stay, but their service in answering our emails and arranging payments could not have been better. The central location made it easy for us to slip back to the apartment for a "comfort stop" too. (There is only one public toilet in the entire town). “Everything about this holiday went like a dream, from the initial booking right through to the departure, helped by the excellent services of Viktor & Isabelle who run Butterfly Services. The apartment- Heure Bleue- was in a stunning location on the cliffs above Lapad bay, their photographs are spot-on, the views are to die for. The apartment is nicely furnished, comfortable & everything you would expect for a self-catering holiday. It's about a 10 min walk to the bus stop that takes you into Dubrovnik old town (a 10-15 min journey) but all amenities can be found down below the apartment in Lapad bay, pebble beach with all facilities, restaurants, bars, and supermarket. There are a lot of steps to negotiate so probably not the best location for someone with mobility problems although can use the lift at the hotel Kompass which is only a short walk from the apartment. An amazing place to visit & nothing to find fault with at all. Viktor was very helpful in recommending places to visit, things to do, restaurants/bars to try. She was at the taxi door to meet us and spent quite a bit of time helping us to get familiar with the Barcelona apartment. “Having booked the accommodation and noted that we needed to inform the staff that we would be arriving 'out of hours', I emailed Viktor at the hotel to enquire about check in. Viktor's response was quick and we were able to arrange a private transfer from the airport to the apartments at a reasonable price. Viktor met us just outside the Pile Gate, which is extremely close to the apartments. Check in was easy and Viktor gave us a map and some pointers on where to eat and what to see and when to avoid the cruise ship crowds! The MirO rooms are modern, well equipped, clean and tidy, we were on the 3rd floor so had a view of the cove opposite, rooms lower down would be facing another building, but the cove is very close and there is so much to go and see that the view from the window is not essential. “Great location on the Old Town! Divine I is comfortable, clean and well equipped, with a nice little terrace. No outdoors stairs except the ones within the building (1st floor). Wireless internet connection. We highly recommend to stay there. What you see in the website is what you get. The Butterfly Company has other vacation rentals in Dubrovnik area, but all we can say is that the service offered is excellent. Viktor and Isabelle were perfect from the first enquiries to the check-out. As promised our pick up was at the airport on our arrival and a scenic drive took us to the Pile gate. We were greeted by Victor and he settled us in with information and details about our stay at the apartment. The location could not have been better as there were no steps(of which there are many off the main street)and everything was easy distance to walk. There is so much to do and see within the location including the trips/excursions. The sea kayaking was great and the old city itself absolutely stunning. The one drawback of course in being in the city is the noise levels but this was the sound of the city with all the tourists. The patio was not good during the day due to the noise from the extractor fans from the pizza restaurant but on the whole the apartment was fantastic. Homely, clean, in a peaceful spot yet yards from all you would wish to do and see. Its lovely terrace (with an orange tree!) was a welcome shady spot in the heat of the day. “Loved Miro Studio Apartments, modern, stylish and comfortable studios, with everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The apartments are in a quiet street one block away from the Pile Gate of Dubrovnik’s walls, so you can enjoy the city in the morning and go to the apartment to rest and then continue discovering the nice sights within the walled city in the afternoon. It was nice to see the charming cove nearby each time we went out. Viktor was so friendly and nice, he gave us great advice of what to see and do, and where and when. I only regret not going to Lokrum Island which he recommended. I had read about the limited hours of the reception so I called Viktor ahead to tell him I would arrive around 3:30 p.m. and we had no problem. The kitchen was so perfectly equipped that you could prepare anything you want. We bought some groceries from Konsum just for breakfast, and went to some nice restaurants within the walled city (the restaurants that are not on the Stradum are fairly better). The bed was very comfortable, 2 ACs, both worked perfectly. The neighborhood was so quiet and charming; it was like I was a Dubrovnik citizen. “We made the booking for week in May after reading other good reviews about the MirO on TA, and we are so glad we did. The studios are 1-2 minute stroll from the Pile gate, just down a few steps, round a corner and it's suddenly calm and peaceful. The studios have been very well converted, well equipped with good facilities and good quality fittings. We were on the top floor and had a wet room shower with good water pressure. The soundproofing is excellent and we had many good nights sleep. We had studio 6 which has a great view of the small harbour and the large fort that overlooks. Plenty to see from the window over breakfast! Nearbye is a small supermarket and traditional bakery which did us well for breakfasts. We ate out in the evening - plenty of choice and good quality too. Do ask Viktor for advice, every one of his recommendations for eating, and also for trips out were well worth doing. The studio was so well-situated – so close to the old city gate and yet so quiet – and the interior, while small, was lovely. We appreciated that everything was modern and new and created an interesting contrast to the old building. We also liked having the little beach close by – Phil swam there – and we ate at the nearby Orhan restaurant several times because it was so close, away from all the crowds and we liked the food. It was also in a lovely position. Viktor was extremely helpful about places to go and we particularly enjoyed our trip to Korcula, a beautiful old town. Also, his advice about parking was crucial. That was probably the only annoying thing about our stay – having to move the car to several different parking areas, mainly because the cost of parking at the Pile gate doubled at the beginning of June. But we did appreciate having the car when we went to Korcula. Please pass on our thanks to him for his help during our stay. I was really glad i picked it to be the location for our wedding photos. We were very comfortable and felt very at home there. The sound system and TV was amazing! It had a central location which was right in the centre of everything, and it is definitely the place to soak up the sights and sounds of Dubrovnik. - I dont think the website really warns of you of the fact that there are bells right outside the apartment windows - this added to the charm and atmosphere - but it did also disturb our sleep I understand that it is a central busy location, but i just think that you should warn people of the bells right outside. „ If you were in Dubrovnik, where would you want to stay? In a characterless big global chain hotel? In a quaint pension in the old town, within the city walls? No, you want to stay in your own fully-equipped, modern apartment in a quiet street near the Pile Gate. MirO Studio apartment could not have been a better choice. We had enough room to spread out in, comfortable chairs to sit and read in, a kitchen to prepare our own simple fare when we got tired of restaurants and a table to eat at, modern bathroom facilities with an excellent shower, and, best of all, a comfortable bed in a dark, quiet corner of the apartment. It is hard to convey how peace descended upon us when we walked out of the gate and down onto our street. The apartments are literally a 2 minute walk from the gate to the old town, but it was like being in a different world. Dubrovnik old town is awash with tourists--they come in by the cruise boat load, as well as by other means, and the crowds can quickly bring out the misanthrope in me. But we had a haven to which we could escape when we had had enough. There's even a picturesque cove and a small fort right across from the building. Most importantly, we slept extremely well. Word of advice: do everything Viktor says you should do. Eat at the restaurants he recommends; buy sandwiches for a picnic where he says you should buy them, patronize the cafes he recommends. He never steered us wrong. Viktor is charming and the accommodation he runs is first-rate. You will not regret staying here. Room Tip: Stay more than one night.” Trip advisor review, June 2011

“Having booked the MirO studio and noted that we needed to inform the staff that we would be arriving 'out of hours', I emailed Viktor at the hotel to enquire about check in. Viktor's response was quick and we were able to arrange a private transfer from the airport to the apartments at a reasonable price. Viktor met us just outside the Pile Gate, which is extremely close to the apartments. Check in was easy and Viktor gave us a map and some pointers on where to eat and what to see and when to avoid the cruise ship crowds! The rooms are modern, well equipped, clean and tidy, we were on the 3rd floor so had a view of the cove opposite, rooms lower down would be facing another building, but the cove is very close and there is so much to go and see that the view from the window is not essential. “Divine 111 was a super find in the heart of Dubrovnik. It was in a perfect spot and was a comfortable and clean apartment. The only disappointment was that we did not have any gas for the stove which meant that cooking was rather difficult and we had to eat out in the evening. We did contact Viktor about this and he very kindly corresponded with the owner but the problem was not resolved. It made having a self-catering apartment a bit pointless! Viktor was a superb tour guide - we did exactly what he said to do and had a wonderful time. "Dear Isabelle & Viktor. First let me say that we had a truly wonderful time in Dubrovnik and we only wish we could have stayed 2 weeks. We loved the flat - ideal for two people. It was so convenient for everything yet really quiet and peaceful. The location of the Divine III Apartment is perfect. Inside the city walls, so no problem with noisy traffic. It is only a few minutes walk to all places of interest in the old town. At the same time, although so convenient, it was very quiet, thus providing a perfect retreat form all the hustle and bustle of the town. We did not use the buses but they stopped just outside the old town, 3 minutes walk away, for anyone wanting to go to Gruz or the beach resorts of Dubrovnik. The facilities in the apartment were fine. All the information we received about the apartment, arrival information, etc was spot-on. The booking procedure was very easy.Butterfly services provided everything we needed. We particularly appreciated Viktor arranging the day trip to Montenegro for us. It is something we very much wanted to do and in fact we were the only 2 people on the trip which made it all the more interesting. If I return to Dubrovnik, which I very much hope to do, I will certainly use Butterfly services and almost certainly choose Divine III! "We had high expectations which were exceeded by this beautiful MirO apartment which, whilst only a studio, was meticulously well laid out with some lovely little touches (eg fresh flower in a bowl), super-clean, and ideally located just outside the old city in a quiet street near a lovely little cove. The old city is atmospheric, rich in a sense of history, romance and wonder but is also a place where people live and work. We certainly plan to return both to enjoy Dubrovnik and Dalmatia again. "Our stay at the Citrus Bay apartment was magical. Sitting on the beautiful patio, drinking Croatian wine, and looking at the Adriatic was beyond what we expected. Victor and Isabelle were so helpful. Victor arranged for our transportation from the airport with Petar Vlasic, who we used extensively during our stay. Butterfly services made all of the arrangements for our excursions to Montenegro and the wine peninsula. The apartment is in a fabulous location for the view of Lapad.. Even though there are many steps down to the main street, it is not a difficult walk. Often we took the city bus to town and a taxi home. Tlhe kitchen has everything you would need to cook, although local bread, cheese, and fruit are all we prepared. Having a washer was a real plus, since we came with only carry-on for 2 weeks. I can't recommend Butterfly Services enough. The planning for our trip took more than a year and Isabelle was very attentive during that time. Victor took very good care of us. "We had a wonderful time, thank-you, and got back safely. Unfortunately, we got back to the start of British winter, and have had mostly grey sky and rain since our return. So we'll just have to start planning our return to Dubrovnik. Villa Celeste couldn't have been more perfect. It's brilliantly located just outside the old town, only 5 minutes walk away from everything, but peaceful if you want to shut yourself away and enjoy the ambience and facilities of the villa. It was spotless when we arrived, and we had everything provided, from food in the fridge through to washed and folded gowns! During our stay, the housekeeper came in when we required - she was lovely, and kept everything as it had been when we arrived. Information we received before we arrived gave us everything we needed. Viktor & Isabelle responded promptly to all our mails, answered any questions we had, and were very accommodating. Everything was as we had hoped when we arrived. Everything about our stay was delightful, and we wouldn't hesitate recommending either the villa, or the service that Viktor & Isabelle offer. In fact, friends that joined us in Dubrovnik were coincidentally staying in another property managed by Viktor & Isabelle, and also mentioned how happy they were with everything. "We loved staying in Cavtat, and the house we chose was a big part of that. We absolutely loved the location. No car necessary and the kids went out on their own to pick up bread in the morning. Even though down town is quite busy, the house and garden were so very quiet and peaceful. We have never spent so much time "at Home" when being away on holiday! The house was 5 *. Beautifully decorated, so very clean and well equipped. The transfer by the owner was great, on time and very comfortable. No complains about information we received either. Great services! "We arrived around 5:00 on a beautiful, but very busy Saturday – the streets were crowded. Unfortunately, my husband had injured his back during the cycling portion of our trip and therefore I had to manage all the luggage as well as assist him into the Pile Gate - it was hectic to say the least. I was the first to arrive at the apartment and was delighted with what I found. The Symphony apartment was beautifully appointed and felt welcoming as soon as I arrived – I loved the décor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The renovated bathroom was impeccable and there was plenty of storage in which to place our clothes. The apartment was very clean and fresh. The central location was a blessing given that my husband had difficulty walking. When we were planning the trip my husband had been reluctant to stay in an apartment preferring the full services of a hotel, but he was completely impressed with the accommodations when he arrived and came to really appreciate the extra space that the apartment provided. Last, and most gratefully, the owners went the extra distance and arranged for a wheelchair to assist us during our stay. In spite of the injury we were still able to enjoy much of what Dubrovnik had to offer. The neighbors were also very helpful and friendly and the restaurant below served great pizza. Some of our cycling companions dropped by the apartment and were similarly impressed. Isabelle, I would appreciate if you could an pass this on to Minja. Quite, with an"own" pier and so close to the Old Town of Dubrovnik with all the facilities of food, events and all things worth seeing. All the islands and things worth seeing you pointed out for us. Recommendations of restaurants and small shops where we could buy as some sandwiches and some local places we found by ourselves. You arranged a trip for us into Montenegro and you fixed it with a very nice chauffeur who told us a lot of old and modern history. We saw some very nice places with Kotor and a little island deep in the bay. The nature was very beautiful, but there was a big difference between the countries. It was an interesting trip to make but we felt more like home in Dubrovnik. We also reflected over the nice people who invited us to many restaurants, they were very friendly and accepted a no thanks for a no thanks. We have been on other places where these people can be very irritating and disturbing, but not here in Dubrovnik. Thanks! But that memory which stays a long long time is the feeling that we were not only guests but someone you have known for a long time. "The Miro Apartment was just perfect for our stay in Dubrovnik. We loved our apartment its so clever with it's layout. Very modern with funky designs so it was right up our street! It's in a perfect location just a couple of minutes walk from the Pile Gate. Isabelle & Viktor were fantastic; nothing is too much of a problem. Vikor gave us advice when we asked about places to visit and places to eat and drink. We had never visited Dubrovnik before, we were so surprised when we arrived how stunning it was, it was a holiday with a difference for us and we will certainly be back in the future. If your looking for a nice sandy beach ask Victor about the lovely quiet magical beach near the fancy villas (can't remember the name) and he tell you how to get there it's worth the 40 min walk to get to! We also took the ferry to Lokram Island, it's worth a trip. Gils Bar is great for drinks, fab cocktails, great views but it's very expensive! Buzz Bar at night is a must! It's tricky to find, but when you get there you will see a sign saying cold drinks with the entrance cut out the wall you will come to the top of the bar and just go WOW!! Will say no more apart from the bar is right at the sea with just the moonlight lighting the bar, go all the way down to the bottom, it's stunning and a memory I'll never forget. They were located just next to Pile Gate, next to the old town, and were also only a few steps from the sea. There were numerous restaurants very close by, and the main old town bus stop was also within a two minute walk. The owners were very welcoming, and provided lots of tips. "The MirO apartment was perfect!! A small studio with a queen bed separated by a sliding glass door, but it was all that was needed and had all modern amenities. It was very clean and comfortable, we were on the top floor with an amazing view of the sea and an old fort, and the location could not be beat. It is right outside Pile Gate to the Old City, so we had easy access to great meals and the best attractions, but away from the noise on a very quiet block when it was time to sleep. Also, it was just a block away from the main bus stop, and a short walk to boat trips to beautiful island getaways and to rental cars. However, the best part about the apartment was the management company run by Isabelle and Viktor. Isabelle made all of the arrangements in advance by email and was incredibly responsive and helpful. Viktor, who group in Dubrovnik, worked out of the building next door during the mornings, and would spend fifteen minutes with us every morning giving us suggestions for day trips, highlighting maps and telling us the best places to eat and things to do. All of his advice was spot on, and as a result we truly felt like locals and had our own insider tour guide. They are the nicest couple and would probably become our good friends if we didn't live so far away in New York. We only wish we could reserve Viktor for every vacation we ever take!!" "The Divine studio apartment was nice and clean. The beds were a little hard to sleep on but overall we were pleased with the apartment and the amenities. Internet and satellite TV were a bonus. The taxi we arranged through Victor was on time and waiting for us at the airport. The comfort of the vehicle was really good. The information we received was very helpful. One recommendation is to have a basic map of the surrounding area indicating basic amenities like supermarkets and restaurants. All of this info was in the book but it would be helpful to have a map to visually identify. Overall we were very pleased with your services and our stay in Dubrovnik. "We enjoyed then Divine I apartment very much, it was comfortable and an excellent location. Apart from a boiled egg for breakfast we never cooked as there are so many restaurants on the doorstep. Overall we thought the apartment was excellent and it exceeded our expectations. We wanted to stay in the Old City, which the apartment is in, and the location gave us immediate access to all of the nearby shops, restaurants and sights. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable, with all of the amenities of home. The décor was very tasteful and modern and it was obvious that someone put a lot of time and thought into its appearance. Access to the internet was an added plus that we did not expect but Butterfly/Isabelle did arrange for us to be met at the Pile gate so that we would have no difficulty finding the apartment. I cannot remember his name, but the gentleman that met us was quite courteous and pleasant and very helpful. Isabelle was very helpful with finding out information about ferry and bus schedules. She even went so far as to call the ferry terminal to get me even more information than I had originally requested. Information received was top notch both in terms of quality as well as how quickly we received it. The website is quite informative and easy to navigate. The information package and map that accompanied the reservation confirmation was very thorough and we used it often during our stay. Everything provided in terms of information exceeded our expectations. Service level is the most important quality of a good stay, and I have to say that Isabelle's service was outstanding at every step. Prompt, eager to assist, friendly and reliable. " Miro Studio Apartments are literally one minute walk away from the entrance of the Pile gate of Dubrovnik. The apartments are also just nearby the sea side, there is only one building in between the sea and the Miro. The area and the city overall is very safe. Viktor and Isabella managing the apartments are extremely nice, friendly, and helpful to make your stay pleasant. They will also give you hints as to how to better enjoy Dubrovnik. Regarding the apartments: On a very quiet small street. The pics posted are completely correct. " Miro Studio : Perfect apartment in a very peaceful yet accesable location. Just steps from the Pile Gate of the old town and the sea. Very clean and comfortable with great staff. We were on the bottom floor, would perhaps have preferred an upper floor but there was no noise from apartments above. Everything was within walking distance, Walk the walls early morning or evening to avoid the cruise ship crowds, The Buza bar in the city walls is a must for a pre-dinner drink. No frills but the view is to die for. Also try the restaurant on the harbour on the left as you look to sea, always a queue but worth the wait for good honest seafood at a good price. We enjoyed this more then the very exclusive and expensive Nautika restaurant.. To avoid the heat and cruise ship crowds take a boat trip to Lokrum Island for a cool shady time with a good book. The Troubador bar with its live music is a good evening entertainment. Very hot while we were there in mid July, never below 32 degrees. I think a good time to visit would be May and September. "We recently stayed at the Miro Studio Apartments with our 1.5 year old child. As stated, the location is right off the Pile Gate, which is perfect for viewing the old town. The hotel setup a transfer from the airport to the hotel for us which was night since we were arriving after hours. As stated, the location is perfect, the rooms are great/spacious/clean, and you have a TV with a dish that has access to channels from all over Europe. The room is climate controlled which is great for warm summer months. As also noted, the people who run the apartments couldn't be friendlier. Viktor brought my son and I in to meet his wife and daughter...and his little girl shared her animal crackers with my 1.5 year old. You don't get this in a corporate hotel. They also setup a daytrip for us, and Maria actually helped translate some documents from my great great grandparents who came to the US from Croatia. They also provided an infant cot for my son. Free WIFI was also available, and we had no problems with it on the top floor. A fridge and stove were a nice tough as well. this was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had though. "Miro is a special little place in a very hectic area just outside the gates of the old town Dubrovnik. The apartments are very modern and provide you with a touch of luxury when travelling. The apartments have kitchenettes so that is a huge bonus if on a budget. The location is amazing. You are 200m from the old town yet it is off the beaten track so it's very quiet. And there is private cove 50m from your door that seems to be off the mainstream tourists radar. Viktor and Isabelle make you feel at home and go well beyond what is expected of hosts to guide you through your time in Dubrovnik. "We can't speak highly enough of the support provided by Isabelle, Viktor and their staff in the lead up to and during our first visit to Dubrovnik. From our first email enquiry, responses were always prompt and caring - we were left in no doubt that we were valued as clients. The apartment was less than 200m from the entrance to the old city, yet in a very peaceful location (with very few steps!), with all the conveniences we were after. It was fresh and clean, well-appointed and came with an unexpected bonus of complimentary broadband internet access. Our airport transfer was arranged for us and Viktor met us on arrival, escorted us to our room and provided us with ideas for best utilising our time in the town. "Our villa Le Jardin des Citronniers was really great. Everything was in the same way it was illustrated and described on your website, even better! The house was very lovely and excellently decorated! We did not felt us like in the hotel but like at our own home. "We had a really great holiday in Dubrovnik & we were really impressed with the apartment. The location was perfect & facilities were exactly what we needed. The decor was tasteful & simple & the apartment was obviously kept clean & in a good condition. The transfers worked perfectly & it was really good to know that we didn't have to worry about bothering with taxis - especially as there were 6 of us. All the information we received both before we arrived & when we checked in was very helpful. Steve did mention that he didn't think the map on your website did the apartment justice in terms of location. It seems to show the apartment as being a bit further out. It was only when he checked on google map that he realised how close to the old town it was. Service in general was very good & it was nice to arrive to friendly faces & a warm welcome (not to mention help with the luggage up all those steps). We would definitely come back to Croatia & would recommend Dubrovnik as a great place to visit - either for a week holiday like we did or for a long weekend. "We really enjoyed Dubrovnik and the apartment. It was as good as the description, but when you see the apartment it is even better. Perfect view to the sea, mini market very close and spacious rooms. The beach is near too, good connections. And very peaceful neighbourhood. We only missed some more cutleries, like scissors, cheese "cutter" and more knifes. The transport was well organized and on time. Nice taxi driver who told us useful things on the way. We had a good holiday in Thalassa apartment and would be more than happy to recommend it to our friends or other people. I miss the view already now .Thank you for a nice stay!" On our arrival the transfer was waiting and was very punctual, our driver was very polite and told us a bit about the city, Peter and Viktor were waiting as we arrived. The Hippocampe apartment was very clean and we were very happy with it. The location had a great views across the bay, but the stairs coming back from the beach were very tiring, we came home with nice toned legs, I used muscles i didn't know existed (ha ha). "We found the information on the Butterfly services website excellent, the photos, the description (rooms, equipment, etc) and the location of the apartment were all very helpful. Your answers to our emails were friendly and gave us the information we required. The booking procedure was easy to follow. It was very helpful being able to book our transfer to and from the airport through you with Peter who was polite and friendly. We were also grateful that you welcomed us on arrival at the apartment and that you had bought some essentials for us (milk etc) to keep us going until we got to the supermarket. The information you gave us of the local area, buses to catch to the old town, restaurants to eat at and tours to go on was very useful. (We still think the meal we had at the Taj Mahal restaurant in the 'old town' was the nicest meal of our trip! The apartment was clean, comfortable and had all we needed. The views were excellent, and the location was convenient to the beach, bus stop etc (once you got used to the 120 steps up the hill which was good exercise!). The 2nd bedroom was abit hot and stuffy Having said this though, we left the apartment and Citrus Bay with the opinion that we had had a very relaxing, pleasant holiday, in a comfortable and clean apartment and met with very friendly and helpful people. We would have no hesitation in recommending Butterfly Services to our friends back in Melbourne. Now all we have to do is try to adjust to the cold wintery weather back here in Australia!" Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique dans cette belle région du Sud de la Dalmatie. La situation de l'appartement est très bonne. Lapad est un quartier tranquille avec tout ce qu'il faut à proximité. Thalassa est un bel appartement, beaux meubles et lit confortable! Tout de bonne qualité. Propreté: Rien à redire! Super. Sur le site internet on ne se rend malheureusement pas compte à quel point l'appartement est grand avec plafonds hauts. Peut-être utilisé un appareil photo grand angle pour rendre cet appartement tel qu'il est: beau et attractif. Malgré le plan fourni par vos soins lors de la réservation, on s'est quand même trompé de route une ou deux fois le premier jour. On dira que le copilote n'était pas très concentré...Tout se trouve sur place et Ariana nos a tout de suite montré sur carte les points importants. Merci pour tout. Quand on reviendra dans la région on n'hésitera pas une seconde à repasser par Butterfly services. En attendant je vous souhaite une bonne continuation et un bel été à Dubrovnik. "We were very impressed with the Thalassa II apartment . Very modern and comfortable and very impressed with the cleanliness. Location was good and very accessible. Walking distance to the beach which was handy and also to the Valamar hotel where we were able to use the pool. The view from the apartment was lovely and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. The main large supermarket was a bit far though and needed to take taxi back with our shopping, but only had to do this once so wasn't too bad. Ariana was extremely friendly and met us when we arrived. She was very helpful and pleasant to deal with during our stay. The only problem we had was taking the buggy up and down the stairs in the heat! It would have been good to leave the buggy downstairs in a safe area rather than taking it up with us. Everything was spot on. Booking procedure was very efficient and easy, and Isabelle was very helpful and understanding particularly with advice and arranging items for our daughter. The apartment was actually better than we expected and better than it suggests on the website. All the information that was sent to us regarding arrival to Dubrovnik and tourist information was very helpful. "MirO studios : well located and exceptionally quiet location - just outside Pile Gate - and having the benefit of being in close proximity to the varied and mixed offerings of the Old Town and, importantly, not be subject to the "hussle and bustle" of actually staying within the confines of the walled city itself. A four storied building; beautifully and tastefully renovated and maintained. Use of space is clever and maximes space to best advantage. My wife was particularly impressed with the standard of decor in the wet room and would have quite easily asked me to remove the red tiles and taken them home if that had been possible! Viktor was an attentive and informative host on all aspects of our week in Dubrovnik and I would have no hesitation in returning to this establishment again or, as I'm doing here, recommend same to others. I'd like to think I'm being balanced with this review as I team manage a group of Property Management auditors back in the UK and after years of practical experience you can readily spot poorly managed properties! "Stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of May. Met by Viktor from the transfer which was arranged with his wife and on arriving were given some good tips on how to best utilise our short time in Dubrovnik. Apartment has been cleverly designed to give a good impression of space and is very modern in style, spotlessly clean and had everything you need to self cater. Location is excellent in that it is very close to the entrance to the Old Town but also is close to a sheltered cove away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik when the cruise tourists are in town! One word of advice, if you are not very fit choose a room on the ground floor as there are no lifts to the upper apartments. All enquiries with Viktor and Isabelle prior to arriving in Dubrovnik were handled very promptly and the transfers to and from the airport ran very smoothly and were reasonably priced. "Thank you very very much for an excellent holiday. You organised things superbly, and we really had a very good holiday. We were very pleased we chose an apartment, rather than stay in a hotel outside the town. Three days, we did things in the town, went back and made some lunch, had a quiet drink and read on the terrace, and attacked sight-seeing again in the afternoon. We were so pleased we didn't have to join the hordes all day. Dubrovnik and night was a delight - plenty of places to eat and we did two concerts as well. Apartment especially appreciated the two mornings it was raining - we could just have a lazy time and still be part of everything. Location excellent couldn't have been better. We were just two friends who wanted separate rooms, so we left the sofa bed up all the time - there was plenty of room. We didn't use the dishwasher or washing machine at all, nor the oven. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom and shower were excellent, with plenty of hot water. We specially booked the Divine apartment because of the terrace. Overall, good value for money and we'd stay again. Information received was excellent. Your services were excellent. We hadn't been before, and were very relieved to see our taxi-driver waiting for us, and Viktor waiting - he even carried our suitcases up for us. Very smooth, arriving and leaving, and very reassuring that, if we we were affected by volcanic ash, we at least had friends to help in Dubrovnik. "We've just returned from a whirlwind five day visit to Dubrovnik. Having extensively researched potential accommodation, we settled upon one of the MirO apartments . For us, location and modernity were key factors. Hotel options close to Dubrovnik's old town are very limited and we wanted to avoid wasting time having to journey in and out every day. Hotels are also expensive and don't always offer the degree of independence and autonomy which we were seeking. Of course, one never knows whether experiences logged by fellow travellers and the descriptions available on websites will actually match up to what one finds on arrival. However, in this case everything was exactly as we had been led to believe, topped only by the charm, hospitality and knowledge of Viktor and Isabelle. The apartments are located in the perfect position, a quiet little street only a minute or so's walk from one of the main access points to the old town, the Pile Gate. In fact they are a stone's throw from a charming little cove which, many many years back, served as the original old port for the town. There is a delightful restaurant here and a mini market and bakery just around the corner. "The MirO apartments have been ingeniously planned, offering a very comfortable double bed (queen size), modern furnishings, a sitting area with satellite TV and DVD player, a fridge, cooker, microwave, a bathroom area with shower and a separate toilet. There is also air conditioning which I'm sure would be most welcome in the summer months. A number of sliding frosted glass screens or doors can be rolled back and forth to section off the bed area. It's all very clever, not large but more than adequate for a short stay whilst exploring the area. MirO is about clean, contemporary, practical and well resourced not about plush, chintzy or faded glory! There is a tardis like quality, space having been utilised to amazing effect. In truth, what one trades in by way of space is more than made up for by the location, the modernity and the genuine care and concern of the owners to make sure that your stay is as comfortable and worthwhile as possible. "We really did enjoy our time at Thalassa and it was an added bonus being able to meet up with you both. We found the accommodation excellent and exactly as you detailed it. For visitors without cars, the location was ideal, being so close to the local buses and supermarket. The facilities were very comprehensive and the back-up from the proprietors was very professional. We were most impressed with the quality of all the fittings and the cleanliness was brilliant. We were most impressed with the constant supply of fresh washing up liquid, soap, dishwasher tablets and the endless supply of towels! We felt very safe and secure there and also feel that as the accommodation is so warm it could so easily be promoted for year round holidays. We also felt that for self-catering, Dubrovnik is far less expensive than the € zone and the plentiful supply and quality of local fruit, vegetables and general groceries means that holiday costs are significantly more attractive! The info in the Tourist Offices is generally free and very good. We always do as much research as possible on new destinations before we set off and were so fortunate in that you filled in the gaps in our knowledge by giving us very detailed info on steps, distances from shops and a multitude of info on the bus services which meant that we arrived fully briefed - thanks again for this! We were greeted by Viktor. The studio apartment was perfectly adequate, and very clean. There was a small two ring hob which was handy for simple hot breakfasts and snacks. There was a busy restaurant at the bottom of the stairs, and I was initially concerned as to how noisy it would be at night, but the double glazed windows and shutters provided great sound-proofing, and we didn't suffer any sleepless nights. The air conditioning was instantly very effective, and was a godsend when we'd been out in the hot sun all day. The website description was very accurate, and we were not in the least disappointed by the facilities. Isabelle was friendly and helpful when Catherine booked our apartment, and the process was very smooth. Viktor was enthusiastic and friendly on arrival, and talked us through the detailed tourist information he had provided for us. He suggested lots of different trips that might interest us, and although we did end up making our own arrangements for most of our excursions, he gave us lots of good ideas. He also pointed out several good restaurants, and when we tried them, the food was indeed delicious! Once Viktor had settled us in, we were left to our own devices, which is exactly how we wanted it, but we knew help was only a phone call away should we need anything. When we were due to leave on Friday, our flight wasn't until late evening, but Viktor and Isabelle very kindly allowed us to stay in the apartment until it was time to head for the airport, rather than insisting we check out first thing in the morning - this was a really nice touch, as the weather was really bad on that day, so we were in and out sheltering from the rain. Viktor also arranged our transport back to the airport and waited with us in the rain until we were safely on our way, which was very much appreciated too. All in all, a fantastic holiday, and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending this apartment to our friends. Thanks for having us!" Tony& Catherine, October 2009

The location is just a couple of minutes' walk from the Pile Gate, the main entrance to the Old City of Dubrovnik. The apartment manager was friendly and helpful and was kind enough to meet us off the airport transfer bus and take us to the apartment – which was nice as it was dark and pouring with rain when we arrived. The apartment had air conditioning, but was perfectly warm enough in October and with both windows closed was very quiet. I'm picky about mattresses and this one was very comfortable. "If you want to be close to all the action in Dubrovnik, without the crowds of tourists going past your door, then MirÓ apartment is the perfect place to stay. Just outside the old city, you are less than 30 seconds from the action without the noise (and inflated prices) that come with being inside the city walls. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I stayed in what was apparently the smallest room, but for one or two people would be perfect. It was significantly larger than a lot of European hotel rooms. The lounge can be separated from the sleeping area to create defined spaces or opened up to make the room feel larger. The little kitchenette is perfect if you want to eat in one night or even whip up a snack to take down to the nearby water's edge. The hosts go out of their way to tell you all the good places to eat, secret places to enjoy a drink with a view and generally how to make the most of your time in this beautiful city." "We had an excellent time in Dubrovnik and are extremely sad to be home in cold, wet Belfast!! I We would certainly recommend the Bougainvilliers to anyone visiting Dubrovnik. Firstly, Viktor was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and in the months thereafter (I sent him many many emails!). The website pictures did not do the apartment justice and were very pleasantly surprised when we saw it. The location was ideal for us, although bringing our cases up the 96 steps was not ideal! However, this was a minor inconvenience and certainly did not overshadow the beauty of the place. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the only minor complaint was that the shower in the smaller ensuite was very poor and some of girls complained that it sprayed everywhere! Having a pool was definitely one of the highlights of the apartment – especially on the very hot days. The information pack left in the apartment was very useful, especially when choosing where to eat. My husband and I had a meal in Gils, which although very expensive was definitely a worthwhile experience. All in all we had an excellent experience using Butterfly services and Viktor was extremely helpful throughout. "A friend and I stayed in MirÓ 7 and my other two friends in 4. The rooms were comfortable, stylish, clean, open and air-conditioned. High speed internet access was available. We had lovely views of the Pile port from our room and were within very short walking distance from The Old Town of Dubrovnik, which was perfect for us. The main beach we went to was Bane beach club which was only a ten minute pleasant walk through the town. The staff were helpful and incredibly nice. Inside the room were free guides to the best restaurants and places to see and go. Local supermarkets are again only a few steps from the door and there is a handful or really nice restaurants equally close catering to all tastes. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here". "We recently had a four night stay at the MirÓ Studio Apartment in Dubrovnik. I highly recommend it if you are looking for apartment-style accommodation with the ability to self-cater. The location is excellent; just outside the city walls (less than 5 minutes walk to get inside the old city). MirÓ is located just around the corner from two picturesque coves either side of Fort Lovrjenac; one of which has a great little restaurant (Orhan) and the other has a nice rocky beach from which to go for a swim. The apartment (#4) was comfortable, clean and decorated in a modern style. The bed could fold up into the wall for extra space, but I didn't find this to make the bed any less comfortable. The only criticism I have is that the stairwell acted as bit of an echo chamber, maybe some soft furnishings in the stairwell might counteract this. Viktor was an excellent host, meeting our car that brought us from DBV airport to the bus area . I would recommend getting in touch with him before you arrive, as I am not sure I would have initially found the place. His recommendations about where to eat and visit whilst you are in town are worth paying attention to. "My husband and I recently stayed at the MirÓ and loved it. The apartments are locked right near the Pile Gate, just down the steps in fact, in this lovely little bay that enjoys views of the ocean, the City's walls and defensive tower. The apartments occupy a wonderful old building, but all apartments are new. Our apartment was a perfect size for us with good bathroom facilities and a great little kitchenette. Furnishings were modern and it was great to come 'home' each day after the heat of summer. Viktor and Isabelle, and their team, were fantastic. Couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Viktor recommended a private day tour for us which was brilliant and our guide, Peter, was incredibly well informed and great company for the day! As for Dubrovnik....well, who could visit that city without falling in love. We will be back!! "We spent 4 days in Studio MirÓ 6 in July. We can only say, this was our best pick we can do. We were just couple of meters (maybe 30) from Pile gate, the main entrance to Old Town, but in absolutely quite street in little port, 1é metres from see, with beautiful view from the window - The old fortress on the right side, and old ruins on the left side. Studio is modern furnished, nice, absolutely enough. If you want enjoy sea view, ask for number 6 or 4. But number 6 is better. The Dubrovnik itself is like from fairytale. But prepare your money, is also expensive. If you need information, ask Viktor in reception, very nice guy, very helpful. "The service and hospitality we received was brilliant. They arranged a transfer from the airport (too and from) and greeted us in Dubrovnik. It was more than we could of wished for. The location of the MirÓ apartment , a minutes walk from the Pile Gate, was ideal and in beautiful surroundings. A lovely view of the sea and city walls is within a few meters. What made our holiday more special was the apartment. Coming back to a clean, modern, yet comfy place was a bonus. (And cool due to the air con! great for the heat of the summer months) I couldn't be happier with the apartment and wouldn't change anything! We didn't want a lazy beach holiday we wanted a mix of that with good weather and culture. Dubrovnik is perfect for this. There's so much to do. "The MirÓ Studio Apartment couldn't be more conveniently located next to the Pile Gate. It is a clean, sleek, modern space, with great features - such as sliding doors and under floor heating in the bathroom, as well as a fantastic sea view from the window. You descend some stairs next to the modern war memorial to find a peaceful, seclude harbour which is a welcome relief from the busy entrance to the old town, the apartment is situated a few yards up your right hand side. The people who run the apartments are friendly and extremely helpful. You can usually find them in the office next door, so don't hesitate to ask them for advice on where to go, or what to do. "The Divine I was simply a home away from home. It had everything we required. It was very clean and well maintained. The location was ideal, very central. We can make no suggestions on how to improve the offering; it was more than adequate for our requirements. The booking process was made very simple, the information we received about the apartment and Dubrovnik was very accurate and extremely helpful. Upon arrival Viktor made us feel welcome – like we had just come home. He informed us of all the necessary information, recommendation on where to eat and go and gave us helpful hints. "We had a lovely time in Dubrovnik, and appreciated Viktor's help in suggesting places to walk. I think we could have had a much longer walk, but the short ones were fine really. We had thought before we came that we would do 15-20 Km down the coast somewhere. The MirÓ apartment was in a beautiful situation, so handy for everything and with that wonderful view down into the little rocky cove. I sat for hours at the window just watching the sea, and enjoying the floodlights at night! The apartment was indeed beautifully designed and equipped, though perhaps a little too "High Tech" for us! We did not use the cooking facilities at all, because, although it all looked good and as if it was out of a magazine about luxury homes, it was not terribly practical, with no work surface, for example, to prepare any food. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. It was peaceful and restful, and we could not really believe we were so close to the hustle and bustle of Pile Gate! We felt we were well looked after by Butterfly Services. We have good memories of a happy few days in your apartment". Maggie, April 2009
